These terms are an agreement between you and Lypii Apps, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) of Serhii Lypii registered in the Netherlands (KvK 99817039, VAT NL005412268B54), Juliana van Stolbergstraat 28, 4532 AZ Terneuzen, the Netherlands ("we", "us"), for the TwoPillows app and related services ("TwoPillows"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
TwoPillows is not medical care. Lessons, tips, the wellbeing screening and its results are general information to support you as a couple. They are not a diagnosis, not medical, psychological or legal advice, and not a substitute for your doctor, midwife, health visitor or another professional. If you or your baby may be in danger, call your local emergency number. The helplines shown in the app are independent services; we do not run them and cannot guarantee their availability.
Who can use TwoPillows
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to agree to these terms. TwoPillows is for parents and parents-to-be; it is not for children.
Your account and your couple
- You may use TwoPillows without an account linked to Apple or Google, but then your data may be lost if you delete the app or change phones. Saving the account with Apple or Google prevents that.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your phone secure.
- When you invite someone or join with a code, you agree that the shared parts of the app (night plan, tasks, thank-yous, check-in answers as set by your couple, "need help" requests) are visible to your partner. Only invite someone you want to share this with.
- Either partner can end the couple at any time. Shared data is then archived as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse TwoPillows: don't use it to harass, monitor or control another person, don't try to access someone else's data, break our security, reverse-engineer the service beyond what the law allows, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do, after telling you why where the law requires.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you write in the app (names, notes, messages, thank-yous). You give us the permission we need to store it, sync it to your partner and show it to you, only to provide TwoPillows.
Our content
Lessons, task cards, texts, illustrations and the app itself belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your personal, non-commercial use within the app.
Free use and subscription
- Part of TwoPillows is free. The full program needs a subscription. One subscription covers both partners in a couple, on iPhone and Android.
- Plans: monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. The "until your baby turns 2" plan is a single payment that does not renew; access ends when your baby turns two (for expecting couples: two years after the due date). Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country and store.
- Free trial: monthly and yearly plans may start with a free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged. The app shows the date of the first charge before you subscribe and reminds you before it.
- Payment and renewal: purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and are governed by their terms. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase (or when the trial ends) and on each renewal.
- Cancelling: you can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings (the app links there). You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds: refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law, including any statutory right to withdraw where it applies.
- If the couple ends: the subscription stays with the person who paid. The other partner loses access to paid features unless they subscribe.
- We may change prices or plans for the future; we will tell you in advance, and changes to an existing subscription take effect only from your next renewal and as the store allows.
Gift codes
- Gift codes are sold on our website through Paddle.com, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record: Paddle's buyer terms govern the payment, taxes and receipts.
- A code works once, for one couple, and is redeemed in the app (Profile → Subscription → Redeem a gift code). It unlocks the full program for both partners: for one year from redemption, or until the baby turns two (never less than one year). A second gift adds its time after the first.
- A redeemed gift stays with the partner who redeemed it if the couple ends. A gift does not stop a store subscription from renewing; cancel that in the store if you no longer want it.
- Codes do not expire. Keep the code private: anyone who has it can redeem it.
- Refunds: an unredeemed code can be refunded through Paddle within 14 days of purchase; the code then stops working. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer law.
Availability and changes
We work to keep TwoPillows available and accurate but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that notifications (including "Need help") will always arrive — they depend on your phone, network, settings and third-party services. Do not rely on TwoPillows as your only way to reach someone in an emergency. We may change, add or remove features; if we stop offering a paid feature you subscribed to, we will tell you and handle it fairly.
Ending these terms
You can stop using TwoPillows and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account; a 30-day period applies before deletion is final). Cancelling a store subscription is separate — do it in your store account.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for any claim related to TwoPillows is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without taking away the protection of mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. If something goes wrong, write to us first; most problems can be solved that way. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless consumer law lets you bring them before the courts where you live.
Apple-specific terms
If you downloaded TwoPillows from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for TwoPillows or its content, has no obligation to provide support, and is not responsible for claims relating to it; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to the extent these terms don't cover something.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using TwoPillows and delete your account.
